バルセロナからの来客、CesarさんとAgnesさんとTokyo SketchCrawl teamの集い
バルセロナからやってきたCesarさん（EcleticBox）とそのガールフレンドのAgnesさんと、いつものSketchCrawl の仲間たちとの集いをお二人の来日初日の１４日に池袋で行いました。
数名と新宿で待ち合わせして、池袋へ移動。ジュンク堂書店を覗いた後にサンシャインシティに行き、新しくなった水族館でも見てみたかったところでしたが、あまりの混みように断念、むしろ混んだ店内をスケッチしようという事になり、一時間後に集合するまで各自が散らばってスケッチしたのでした。

私は水族館に入るために２時間待ちの行列で並んでいた人たちの様子を描きました。
スケッチするCesarさんの横でスナック菓子を食べさせてあげたり、食べたりしてるAgnesさん。
その後、ゆっくりお茶しながらお互いのスケッチを見せ合いたかったのですが、喫茶店は混んでいたので、外階段の空いたスペースでスケッチを並べ、コンビニで飲み物を買ってきて、のどの渇きを癒しつつ歓談したのでした。しかしその日も暑いし湿気がひどかった！
その後はとり鉄という居酒屋に移動。そこで食事会プラス引き続きスケッチ会。
二時間のコースの飲み会は追いたてられるように次から次へと出され・・・
それからその側にあった喫茶店にて再び互いをスケッチし合う妙な集団と化した我々でした。
お二人が日本に到着したのが午前８時頃で、それから待ち合わせの午後１時まで空港からホテルに到着、すぐ駅まで移動、みんなと合流、本屋を経由してサンシャインに移動、スケッチ、見せっこ、宴会がてらスケッチ会、喫茶店にてまたスケッチ会というハードスケジュールをこなされた中、疲れも見せずにつたない案内にもニコニコと楽しんで会話してくれる、とっても素敵なカップルさんでした。
これから２週間あまり、日本国内を回られるとの事、沢山の良い出会いと思い出を持ち帰っていただきたいと思います。

Absolutely beautiful sketches Kumi, wow. I'm sorry I always say the same thing but I can't help it!! Your work is really quite breath taking.
Aside from the superlatives about your work -- seeing everyone together like this is so wonderful. More than ever, as fellow artists, and as friends, I think it's really important to be around one another. I am hoping I can come over to study in Japan next year, but we will see. Thank you for posting those beautiful works and the photos too!

Dear Kumi and all Tokyo SketchCrawlers,
Thank you for organising such a wonderful afternoon!
It was great to spend our first day in Japan surrounded by so many talented artists and kind people!
I could not imagine a better way to start our trip through your lovely country. You blew up all our expectations!
It's been very nice to meet you all. No doubt drawing is a perfect bridge to join cultures and bond people so we would love to show you around with the same hospitality and draw together again if any of you visits our country.

Dear Cesar,
How have you been since then? Have you sketched many? Hope your (busy) sketch trip to Japan become one of the most memorable and fruitful one to you! So you have another week to stay, please have fun! Can't wait to see your post after your safe return to Barcelona where I really want to revisit sometime soon.
